I see other forum use Forum Chat soft. Location : below header..
This software installed and used like cyber-ug, earnmoney24h

I think this is will be great if DXHX support forum chat. So we can leave message to other without Going to PM..

PHPBB and VBis posible, but i don't know with myBB or other forum software

There is a chatbox plugin for MyBB available, but I am not sure that it is really needed. Also from past experience, the pages take longer to load and people tend to post less on the forums because of it.

I will add a poll to see what everyone else thinks.

In my opinion a chat would be quite useless. Why put a chat in a forum?

Yes, the pages take longer. But this very simple to leave message to other. What do you want : leave message on chatroom or click username + PM + Send PM?

The forums are made to replace chat rooms with categorized discussions. Putting a chat in a forum is like Google Adsense in a PPC's site - non sense.

I don't think it would be worthwhile. They mainly just take up bandwidth and never really get used.

IMO a message board is better without one. And from what I've seen they usually go like:

2. hello 1
3. hello to you to 2
4. bye bye 1 and 2
5. who? bye bye yourself!!!
6. P*** O**
7. ...

You get the idea. It's an eye sore, nothing more.

I don't like the idea for a chatbox to be in a professional setting. People would abuse it for support or just general questions about your service. I also don't like Google ads in a website hosting company forums either. It's unattractive!
